José designed his first puzzle (Arabesque) in his late fifties and has well over a hundred designs to his name now. Some of these designs will be available on this website from time to time. He believes in reducing a design to its lowest level of difficulty and its highest level of stableness while making sure the puzzle does not become trivial. He crafts his designs to be playthings as well as showpieces.
