This puzzle is one of a pair which we entered in the 2003 IPP Puzzle Design Competition. Arabesque, like most interlocking puzzles, isn't overly difficult to disassemble (although there are some tricks to it); but, it's very difficult to reassemble. Three different types of wood were used to make the puzzle in the illustration (canarywood, black walnut and zebrano).
